Playheart was created by Jordan Quaglia, PhD, Associate Professor of Contemplative Psychology, Director of the Cognitive and Affective Science Lab, and Research Director of the Center for the Advancement of Contemplative Education at Naropa University in Boulder, CO. The game draws on Jordan’s interests in psychology, neuroscience, mindfulness, compassion, and gamification. Through Playheart, he also aims to share a playful perspective on life, one that recognizes people and their stories are far too multidimensional to be confined to any one box.
